Dwayne was selected as one of Six Finalist who will compete at the Capital Jazz Fest.

in Washington D.C. The winner will get to perform a 30min set (Sun.) June 3rd on

the Main Stage.

An Evening with Dwayne Kerr

 

Dwayne's 1st Long Island performance of 2007,sponsored by the Smithtown Arts Council.

Kerr"The Funky Fluteman" will appear with one of his musical mentors Ranny Reeve.

In the 1st set playing Standards and Originals by Ranny in the Traditional Jazz style.

Then for the 2nd set Kerr will take the stage performing his brand of Smooth/Soul Jazz

with the Funky Flute Band,playing songs from"Flutation" Kerr's debut CD and the upcoming

"Higher Calling" CD.
